Pete has Wisconsin roots, having grown up in western Wisconsin and settled in the Chippewa Valley.  He attended the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire and holds a Bachelor of Buisness Administration in Marketing degree and Master of Arts in Teaching degree in Business Education. Since retiring from teaching in 2022, LionHeart Studio has become his new career and passion.

Pete loves spending time with his wife Wendy, and his daughter Clara, along with their three dogs, Sadie (in photo above), Sam, and Gus.  Splinter, also known as Studio Cat, 'helps' with the creative process as well.  When not in the studio, there's a good chance you'll find him at a Renaissance faire or out for a ride on his motorcycle (Pete, not the cat).
